"The best charity is giving water"

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever provides water for a person to drink, it will be for him a reward until they are satisfied.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2360)

Narrated Aisha: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever gives water to a Muslim to drink, it will be his to drink from the Paradise.” A man said to the Prophet, “What about the people who have animals with them?” The Prophet replied, “They should give them water to drink and they will be rewarded for that.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2369)

“Narrated Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, ‘Whoever provides water to a thirsty person, Allah will record for him a good deed (in reward).’” (Sahih Al-Bukhari 2223)
Narrated Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever provides water to a thirsty Muslim, Allah will give him a drink from my fountain on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever feeds a hungry Muslim, Allah will feed him from my fountain on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever clothes a Muslim, Allah will clothe him from my fountain on the Day of Resurrection.” [Sahih al-Bukhari 2586]
Narrated Abdullah bin Umar: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever provides water to a Muslim to drink, Allah will provide him drink from the water of Zamzam. And whoever feeds a Muslim, Allah will feed him.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Book 71, Hadith 6023)

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Every day, the sun rises and every day, charity (Sadaqah) is due on every joint of a person’s body. Doing justice between two people is charity, and assisting a man to ride upon his mount, or lifting up his belongings onto it, is charity, and a good word is charity, and every step that you take towards prayer is charity, and removing harmful things from the road is charity.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
